Other joint and muscle problems

It’s probably fair to say that chiropractors are best known for treating back and neck problems, but you might be interested to know that chiropractors are trained to diagnose, treat, manage and prevent problems of the entire musculoskeletal system (bones, joints & muscles).

How can we help

It may be that you are experiencing general aches and pains arising from your muscles or joints, or perhaps the feeling is more like a spasm or cramp.

Shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles and even the small joints in your hands and feet can all give rise to such symptoms.

Muscle tension can then develop in reaction to this, which can become a problem in itself.

Through a proper assessment, our chiropractors at Canary Wharf Chiropractic will get to the bottom of your problem to see if they can help you and, if so, they will use a range of techniques to reduce pain, improve function and increase mobility.

This may include some massage techniques on muscles, or mobilisation of joints, or perhaps some acupuncture. You will probably be given some exercises to do at home so you recover quicker.

The combination of joint & muscle treatment techniques used will vary from person to person and from problem to problem.

Sometimes the solution to your problem is simple and you will get back to normal quickly with some straightforward muscle and joint treatment. But sometimes it is more complicated and the process of recovery can take time, but all this will be discussed with you when you visit.
