Complaints can vary from simple to complicated, so we will understand all we need to through a thorough assessment in order to help you in the best possible way.
You will be asked about your symptoms, including the location, severity, duration, and any aggravating or relieving factors. You will also be asked about your medical history, relevant past injuries, and lifestyle.
We will carry out tests on your shoulder, but also (most likely) on your neck and upper back to evaluate your range of motion, muscle strength, and any tenderness or pain points.
This will inform the diagnosis so we know the type of shoulder complaint you have and what needs to be done about it.
Through that, you should then be provided with a personalised treatment plan that might include manual treatment, soft tissue therapy, exercise rehabilitation advice, and guidance on your regular activities and lifestyle.
All being well, you will be able to get the pain relief you are looking for with improved function and a progressive feeling of getting back to normal.
If you are experiencing a shoulder complaint, book an appointment with us to see how we can help you.
