Your Experience

Your first visit to us at Canary Wharf Chiropractic is a one hour session involving an in-depth discussion with one of our highly trained chiropractors about whatever it is that is bothering you followed by a thorough hands-on assessment so we can fully understand what the problem is and exactly how we can help you.

You will be given a clear explanation of what is going on and what we can do about it, and we will also give you the best advice we can so that you know what you can do to help yourself.

Treatment is included in the first visit so you can start getting better straight away. You will be given an idea of what to expect in terms of recovery time and how many sessions you might need.

Between sessions you will be able to contact your practitioner directly for ongoing advice and support.

We are dedicated to providing the best service we possibly can and we are delighted with all the 5-star Google Reviews we have received over the years, so please come and find out for yourself what we can do for you!

Chiropractic is a healthcare profession concerned with diagnosing and treating mostly musculoskeletal issues, particularly those related to the spine, such as back pain and neck pain. The care provided by chiropractors often involves manual (hands on) techniques to work on the spine and joints of the body, as well as the muscles and other soft tissues, to improve movement and function and reduce pain.
The chiropractors at Canary Wharf Chiropractic also use a range of other techniques alongside advice on self-help and exercises to provide you with a rounded package of care to enhance your speed of recovery.
Back pain and neck pain are conditions commonly treated by chiropractors but they can also help you with certain types of headaches, joint and muscle problems, and sporting aches and pains. They are also able to assess posture-related problems and help in the prevention of migraines.
A chiropractic adjustment – also known as manipulation – involves applying a quick but very controlled force to a joint (including those in your spine) to improve movement and function and thereby reduce pain or discomfort. You might hear a pop or a click, like when you crack your knuckles, which is simply the harmless noise of gas bubbles popping in the fluid of joints as pressure is released.
Chiropractic care is very safe when carried out by properly qualified and registered chiropractors (which we are!). At Canary Wharf Chiropractic we will take the time to get to know you and understand the issue you have before talking through the best treatment options available to you. Although we will make recommendations the treatment you have is entirely your choice.
During your first visit your chiropractor will ask about your current condition and also your medical history and overall health. We like to be thorough in what we do so we allow plenty of time for this. Once we know what we are dealing with and you are comfortable going ahead you can have your first treatment in the same session. Treatment and advice continues if needed over follow-up sessions.
